Head of UNESCO Chair in Interculturalism, Art Management and Mediation, Serbia
Dr. Milena Dragićević-Šešić, former President of University of Arts, Belgrade, is now Head of UNESCO Chair in Interculturalism, Art Management and Mediation; Director of the Institute for Theatre, Film, Radio and Television; professor of Cultural Policy & Cultural Management. She serves as a Member of several Boards including the European Diploma in Cultural Project Management (Brussels) and the Interuniversity Center Dubrovnik. She was a team member of the Global Cultural Leadership Forum and the MEDCulture programme. In 2002, she was named Commandeur dans l`Ordre des Palmes Academiques. From 2006-2010, she was a Member of National Council for Science. Dr. Dragićević-Šešić’s research interests comprise cultural policy and management, educational policy; art activism, alternative art and public space; intercultural dialogue projects; and culture of memory.
